UFC® today announced two bouts for the organisations highly anticipated event in Gdańsk, Poland. UFC FIGHT NIGHT® GDAŃSK will take place on Saturday, October 21 at Ergo Arena. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, August 11 via Eventim at www.eventim.pl/ufc
In a heavyweight bout, Adam Wieczorek (8-1; fighting out of Chorzow, Poland), will make his UFC debut in Gdańsk. Wieczorek, one of Poland’s biggest prospects, is on seven fight winning streak with all seven bouts finishing before the final bell. He will face Dmitrii Smoliakov (8-2; fighting out of Kaliningrad City, Russia) after their bout at UFC 214: Cormier vs. Jones 2 was rescheduled as the Russian faced an injury.
The second bout announced for UFC FIGHT NIGHT® GDAŃSK in October will see Trevor Smith (15-7; fighting out of Tukwila, Washington, USA) and Ramazan Emeevem (15-3; fighting out of Dagestan, Russia). Whilst Smith makes his 10th walk to the Octagon®, for Russian Emeev it will be his first. After wins over some of the top fighters outside of UFC in the middleweight division, the Russian signed UFC and will be looking to show the world what is his capable of on October 21.
With more bouts to be announced in the coming days, fans should secure their tickets now for the most anticipated MMA event in Poland.
Tickets to UFC FIGHT NIGHT® GDAŃSK go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. CEST via Eventim and will be priced at 89PLN, 129PLN, 169PLN, 269PLN, 309PLN, 349PLN, 399PLN, 499PLN, 669PLN, 899PLN and 1199PLN.
Fight Club members will get the opportunity to purchase their tickets early on Wednesday, August 9 at 10:00 CEST and UFC newsletter subscribers on Thursday, 10 August at 10:00 CEST.
