It’s going to be the most important night in the history of Polish boxing. September the17th and Polsat Boxing Night in ERGO ARENA – two boxing championship fights organized by the most prestigious organizations.

The most expected one is, of course, clash between WBO Junior Heavyweight champ Krzysztof Głowacki and Olympic gold medalist Oleksander Usyk. Both boxers are invincible on the professional level while Ukrainian boxer (supported by the Klitschko brothers) won all of his fights after KO. According to bookmakers it’s Usyk who should get the belt.

Also, fans in ERGO ARENA will have an opportunity to watch, for the first time in Poland, a boxing WBC championship fight uo to 69 kilos between two females: Ewa Piątkowska from Poland and American boxer of Polish descent – Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes. Piątkowska was the first Polish woman ever to win European Championship and now she wants to get the World Boxing Council belt as it is the most professional trophy in professional boxing.

Krzysztof Głowacki – Oleksandr Usyk

WBO Junior Heavyweight champ against Ukrainian talent is definitely one of the most important and interesting fights in the history of Polish boxing. „This will be a really exciting fight, I really can’t tell who’s gonna win it” – wrote Dan Rafael – a famous American expert. What will make the difference in ERGO ARENA? Polish strength and will to fight or Ukrainian finesse and power of muscles? Get the answer in ERGO ARENA on September 17th.

Ewa Piątkowska – Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes

Welterweight WBC fight between the current European Champion Ewa Piątkowska and representing the USA but born in Poland Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes. If Piątkowska wins this fight she will become the first Polish lady ever to become a World Champion in professional boxing. Emotions guaranteed!

Patryk Szymański – Jose Antonio Villalobos

Junior WBC super Welterweight clash. Ambitious Argentinian Jose Antonio Villalobos and Polish invincible figter Patryk Szymańsi who has lately won against IBF favorite Wilky Campfort and has all the right to think about this belt as this will be another step on his road to championship. 

Andrzej Wawrzyk – Albert Sosnowski

Two former favorites in heavyweight – Andrzej Wawrzyk and Albert Sosnowski always guarantee a tough and interesting fight. Much younger and better in terms of physicality Wawrzyk should win, according to experts but former European champion Sosnowski promised he doesn’t give up yet!  Let’s check if the Polish ”Dragon” can keep his word. This should be an interesting one!

Paweł Stępień – Norbert Dąbrowski

Typical, classic boxing fight – routine mixed with young blood. Many claim that Paweł Stępień is one of the most promising Polish fighters. This boxing in light heavyweight category young man from Szczecin will have a great opportunity to show his skills agains a very experienced Polish boxer – Norbert Dąbrowski. Both think about KO but there is only one belt to be given.
