After a sold-out concert in Krakow, “the Duke of Latin sound” – Enrique Iglesias – will return to the Poland in 2017 to present new repertoire and his greatest hits in ERGO ARENA Gdańsk / Sopot on May 17th 2017. Ticket sales starts 8.12.2016 (Thursday) at. 10:00.
Enrique Iglesias is a persona that needs no introduction. A winner of almost 500 awards, an author of 10 studio albums, is without a doubt an exceptional figure. During his 20-year career, the Spanish singer has sold over 100 million records. In Poland, two of his albums were covered with gold, and the album “Enrique” (1999) with a big hit, “Bailamos”, which brought him international fame, gained in our country double platinum.
Enrique maintains his strong position at the top for 2 decades now. His last to date, tenth album “Sex and Love”, is a return to singer’s highest form. “I come out with so many albums and I want to make sure that if I come out with an album it sounds new.” – he revealed during an interview when it premiered. The effect is really great. It’s an album full of duets and collaborations – guest starring, among others: Flo Rida, Pitbull and Sean Paul. “Sex and Love” was the 7th most frequently listened album on Spotify worldwide in the year of its release, and the music video to “Bailando” was to this date watched nearly 2 billion times.
The artist had a long time in returning to the Polish audience – last time he visited our country nearly a decade ago. Finally he met fans’ expectations and in a few days will show up in Krakow. The announcement of his performance aroused the audiences’ appetites so much, that his concert has sold out to the last seat. So it was more than natural that Enrique decided to appear in Poland again, this time in Tricity – thus giving the opportunity to participate in a unique concert for all, who could not get tickets to see him in the capital of Lesser Poland. But the event in Ergo Arena will be no ordinary repetition – this concert will surprise not only with a new scene arrangement but also with a brand new music program.
