Besides celebrating venue’s 13th birthday, which is falling today – August the 18th – we are eager to share with you the schedule we’ve been working on lately! Every fall the border of Gdańsk and Sopot is bursting with entertainment and this upcoming season, of course, will be no different.
Your must-sees are the two major productions we have in September! FREESTYLE HEROES Extreme & Moto Show (Saturday, September the 9th) will be another round of motorbike, quad, BMX, scooter and mountainboard jumps and somersaults. Pyrotechnics, lights and perfect music will make it even more spectacular and build tension before the final part! As for the concert lovers – QUEEN, ROXETTE, LED ZEPPELIN, AC/DC, GUNS N’ ROSES, METALLICA, THE BEATLES, SCORPIONS, BON JOVI, AEROSMITH, NIRVANA as well as LINKIN PARK hits will be played by The Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and sung by some of the best-known Polish artists: Kasia Kowalska, Marek Piekarczyk, Piotr Cugowski and Grzegorz Kupczyk on Saturday, September the 30th.
October variety should interest megalomaniacs who enjoy film music – this year’s edition of Royal Symphony Orchestra project dedicated to Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone and John Williams will take place on Saturday, Oct. the 7th. If you love trance like we do – you have to be here in the last weekend of the month too. Exactly 1 year after its Polish premiere – Transmission Festival will return to ERGO ARENA with ‘The Awakening’ show on October the 28th.
In November we are inviting you to pay tribute to the gone but never forgotten popstars on Friday, November 3rd and to admire the famous, Balkan “rebel with a cello” HAUSER two days later.
Our local Trefl Sopot (basketball) and Trefl Gdańsk (volleyball) teams will be putting out their home games schedules shortly so there will be a lot of fantastic sports emotions to experience in the weekends as well.
