The great Cirque du Soleil OVO shows gave the local, Gdansk/Sopot audience a lot of colorful impressions and closed April with an artistic bang! The upcoming months will be just as energetic, filled with sports, music and entertainment on the highest level.
The first weekend of May should be a real treat for all electronic dance music lovers. Upperground Poland will be a unique event, the sounds of techno melodies will be combined with a unique visuals show, which guarantees amazing experiences and emotions. The famous headliners – Ukrainian duo ARTBAT will be back to Poland after 4 years and, together with other global DJs, will play a night-long gig to party along, starting on Saturday the 6th at 7pm and finishing on Sunday morning, at 6am.
Not your genre? How about classical pieces on a fancy June evening? André Rieu has grown into one of ERGO ARENA’s favorites, no surprise he is bringing his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra (the largest private orchestra in the world) to us for the 9th time! Having received over 480 Platinum Awards, three Classical Brit Awards for “Album of the Year” and billions of Youtube views, André is one of the biggest solo male touring artists in the world. Either you have seen him live or not yet – you will have an amazing opportunity to enjoy waltz on June the 7th!
For those who love rock and roll we have another huge comeback. A show packed with evergreens such as “Wind of Change”, “Send Me an Angel”, “Rock You Like a Hurricane”, “Still Loving You” or “Big City Nights” is a must-go for all generations of rock lovers, don’t miss this chance to watch legends (who have been touring for over 50 years!) perform! Scorpions will play at ERGO ARENA again on June 22nd.
Spring is a play-off bound for our basketball team, follow sercesopotu.pl and check the ERGO ARENA game schedule as Trefl Sopot fights to return to the Polish league top. Volleyball staff will shortly start their preparations for the national team season – its home finale will take place at ERGO ARENA in July – tickets for male Volleyball Nations League final tournament will appear on-sale via eBilet.pl two weeks from now – on May 11th.
